sier­ra : 22.02 — Wie ich an die­sem schö­nen war­men Sonn­tag­abend aus dem Fens­ter sehe, ent­deck­te ich eine Eidech­se, die sich bis zu mir hin­auf unter das Dach vor­ge­ar­bei­tet hat­te. Sie saß nur eine Arm­län­ge ent­fernt, gel­be Augen, blau­grün schil­lern­de Haut und beob­ach­te­te mich natür­lich. Ich konn­te nicht ent­schei­den, ob sie mich nun mit den Augen oder mit ihrer ner­vö­sen Zun­ge prä­zi­ser zu erfas­sen ver­moch­te. Ich schien ihr nicht ver­däch­tig gewe­sen zu sein, das schlan­ke Tier flüch­te­te nicht. Im Gegen­teil, die Eidech­se kam noch näher her­an, kau­er­te bald auf dem Fens­ter­brett, das warm von der Son­ne war, und schau­te wie ich gegen den Him­mel. Es war ein schö­ner Him­mel voll bau­schi­ger Wol­ken, die sich kaum beweg­ten. Nach einer Vier­tel­stun­de zog ich mich vor­sich­tig vom Fens­ter zurück, hoff­te, die Eidech­se wür­de in mein Zim­mer kom­men, wür­de eini­ge Wochen Lebens­zeit bei mir ver­brin­gen, über die Wän­de mei­ner Woh­nung huschen, Flie­gen und Fal­ter jagen, die mei­ne Räu­me in gro­ßer Zahl bewoh­nen. Es ist jetzt 22 Uhr. Bis­lang ist am Fens­ter noch nichts gesche­hen. Ich wüss­te ger­ne, ob es zu die­sem Zeit­punkt sinn­voll wäre, das klei­ne Tier mit etwas Fleisch oder Musik anzu­lo­cken, Stra­win­sky, zum Bei­spiel, oder Col­tra­ne. Ja, die­ser Abend ist ein sehr ange­neh­mer Abend. End­lich ist es mir gelun­gen, für Mr. Oe Som eine Lis­te von Büchern zu erstel­len, die unbe­dingt in die Sphä­re was­ser­fes­ter Lek­tü­ren tran­skri­biert wer­den soll­ten. echo : 3.57 — Wäh­rend der Nacht lan­ge sit­zen. Nichts tun. Nur atmen. Gegen drei Uhr Abstieg zur Stra­ße. Die Trep­pe knarrt bei jedem Schritt vor Türen, hin­ter wel­chen Men­schen schla­fen. Auf der Stra­ße ein leich­ter Wind. Es ist kühl gewor­den. In den Bäu­men Geräu­sche, lei­se, lei­se, als wür­den die Vögel mur­meln im Schlaf. Es ist aber des­halb, weil es nie wirk­lich dun­kel wird in der Stadt. Stun­den­lang kann man sich über das Nahen des Mor­gens strei­ten. Wie ich zurück­kom­me, Licht weit oben, vier Fens­ter, beleuch­tet, alle wei­te­ren Fens­ter sind dun­kel. Der Blick auf ein Haus, in dem ein Nacht­mensch wohnt. Plötz­lich bin ich wie­der bei mir, tre­te in Zim­mer, die vor Kur­zem noch ohne mich gewe­sen sind. Mein Heft auf dem Tisch. Ich notie­re: Es ist sinn­voll, Süss­was­ser­kie­men­men­schen von Salz­was­ser­kie­men­men­schen zu unter­schei­den. Ich muss den Satz nicht begrün­den. Noch Dun­kel. — stop

oli­mam­bo : 5.10 — Es ist sehr lan­ge her, war noch Win­ter gewe­sen, als ich Mut­ter beob­ach­te­te, wie sie im Ses­sel vor Vaters Schreib­tisch kau­er­te. Sie hat­te sich getraut und sei­nen Com­pu­ter ange­schal­tet. Ja, Vaters Com­pu­ter lässt sich noch immer betrei­ben. Obwohl ich nicht damit gerech­net habe, dass mit dem Tod eines Men­schen auch die Exis­tenz sei­ner Uhren und Schreib­bild­ma­schi­nen enden wür­de, wun­de­re ich mich, wenn ich Vaters lei­se ticken­de Uhr an mei­nem lin­ken Arm betrach­te. Und das sum­men­de Geräusch sei­nes Com­pu­ters, er macht ein­fach wei­ter. Man stel­le sich ein­mal vor, es wäre anders­her­um, mit dem Ver­sa­gen der Com­pu­ter wür­de auch das Leben ihrer Besit­zer enden. Das wäre selt­sam und sehr gefähr­lich in unse­rer Zeit. Aber es ist denk­bar, dass ein­mal Com­pu­ter exis­tie­ren wer­den, die drei­hun­dert Jah­re alt wer­den oder noch älter, ohne dass ihnen das Licht aus­ge­hen wür­de. Kurz­um, Mut­ter saß vor dem Schreib­tisch. Immer, wenn ich sie so sehe, bemer­ke ich, wie klein sie gewor­den ist, ohne dass ich selbst grö­ßer gewor­den wäre. Sie saß weit nach vorn gebeugt. Ich beob­ach­te­te ihre Hän­de, die ver­such­ten, den Zei­ger auf dem Bild­schirm in nächs­ter Nähe zu bän­di­gen. Ihr Gesicht berühr­te bei­na­he den Bild­schirm. Und als ich sie frag­te, war­um sie so selt­sam dasit­zen wür­de, sag­te sie, dass sie die Buch­sta­ben mei­ner Par­tic­les — Arbeit nur in die­ser Wei­se lesen kön­ne, sie sei­en viel zu klein und sie habe ver­ges­sen, wie man die Buch­sta­ben ver­grö­ßern kön­ne.
